Here's an inside view showing the drive belts. I don't think they even have drive belts now.

These are the amplifier tubes. By the time the drums get up to speed, the tubes are warmed up.

Here's a closeup of the drums. There is a small outgoing message drum and a large incoming message drum. All messages are limited to 30 seconds. The heads are both sitting at the left end of their drums.
